DEVELOPMENT OF HEALTH CARD

Women's access to reproductive health services is wanting, in particular by poor women. Most of these services can only be availed of with cash payments. If there are health cards, these require high contributions that do not fit into the budget of poor women. Through consultative sessions, WISE is exploring with the women cooperators how to come up with an affordable health card.
At present, WISE is tapping the services of FriendlyCare Foundation, Inc. for the reproductive health assessment of women members of locally-organized Packages II Excess Lot Neighborhood Association, Inc. in Bagong Silang, Caloocan City.
